Senorita Frog
My voice has taken a vacation the last three days. I'm sick, and the trend of my adulthood sicknesses is losing my voice. Usually it doesn't last as long as this, but I'm hoping it's on the downward slope.
Work has been awesome. I mean, not wonderful. I've faced piles of work with burning eyes, multiple sneezes, and answered countless questions, both work related and lost-voice related. I'm so glad there's only four (ok, three) days left of tax season.
So, each night I am excited to go home and get rest, and each time I walk through my door, I'm reminded of chores to do, and distracted by non-chores. Tonight I did do some laundry (ah, laundry, how do I love thee!) and made a playlist. Yes, the essential playlist I NEEDED more than cleaning/vacuuming/figuring out the hall light. Tee-Hee... it's nice, though, and I'm listening to it now.
I'm getting ready for bed, and I'm sure I'll be faced with the question I faced last night while attempting to fall asleep. Bring cough drops to bed with me, or will them to come to me in the middle of the night? Last night I tried the "will" option, unsuccessfully (who knew?) and wished when I woke up this morning that I had them. Silly Senorita Frog.
